OUR OUTREACH BATTLE CRY
We are disciples of Jesus Christ
We are part of the fellowship of the unashamed.
We have stepped over the line.
The decision has been made.
We will not look back,
We will not let up,
We will not slow down,
We will not back away,
We will not be still.
Our past is redeemed,
Our present makes sense,
Out future is secure,
We are finished with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions,
mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.
We no longer need preeminence,
We no longer need popularity or position,
We do not have to be right,
We do not have to be first,
We do not have to be recognized,
We do not have to be rewarded.
We are committed to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
We live by faith,
We lean on HIS presence.
We walk with patience and live by prayer,
We labor in love,
Our faces are set,
Our road narrow and the way rough,
Our companions may be few, but our guide is reliable.
Our mission is clear,
We cannot be bought, deluded, or delayed,
We do not flinch in the face of sacrifice and do not hesitate in the presence of adversity,
WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE AT THE TABLE OF THE ENEMY.
We do not meander in the maze of mediocrity.
We will not give up or shut up.
We are disciples of the LORD JESUS and we will go till He comes, and we will give until we drop.
We will preach 'till all know and we will work until He stops us and when He comes He will find FAITH AND
COMMITMENT IN OUR LIVES.

Pray and intercede for these specific needs.
Pray for people that are in need of help from the Outreach Ministry:
* for the women and children: that they learn the life management skills necessary to live independently;
that they remain healthy and safe from abusive spouses, live in partners and others.
* for the men: that they would atke responsibility for themselves, turn away from drug and alcohol
addictions, and develop a healthy work ethic.
* for the men, women, children counseled in family Services: that they find the assistance they
need at the City Mission and other agencies in the community; that God sees them safely through the crisis they are facing;
that they develop healthy money managment skills.
* for all the folks that are hungry that are offered food sustanace through the Outreach Ministry:
that enough food be available to meet their needs, and that they become interested in hearing about Salvation through Christ.
* for all of the people hurting to accept Jesus CHorst as their Lord and Savior and turn to Him
daily for the strength to go on.
Pray for Outreach Ministry Members:
* for love and wisdom in dealing wiht folks that are in need.
* that they would remain healthy, since they often come into contact with people that are unhealthy.
* for their spouses and children and families.
Pray for the City Mission's finances:
* that the Mission would continue to find new ways of saving money.
* that donations would be sufficient to cover rising expenses.
ABOVE ALL, PRAY THAT GOD IS GLORIFIED AND HIS WILL DONE IN THE LIVES OF THOSE SEEKING HELP!!!!
